The Woodlands Cookie Classes

We are Kim Sims (left) and Heather Brookshire (right), a local baking duo who have come together to teach you how to decorate fancy sugar cookies. After meeting over a cup of coffee in early 2022, we made the decision to begin teaching others some of our decorating secrets. Together, we have almost 30 years of baking and decorating experience Kim began baking in 2014 and started Wesley's Treats, Hallie's Sweets after she moved from Utah to Texas, offering cakes, cookies and allergy-friendly treats. (we offer allergy friendly options upon request) She is also the proud owner of Beans and Brews Coffee House in Spring, opening mid 2024! She is a huge fan of all things Halloween and would celebrate year-round if she could Heather has been baking and decorating since she was 12 and worked in three bakeries around Houston before beginning The Cake Whisperer in 2015. She can be seen on Food Network shows such as Holiday Baking Championship: Gingerbread Showdown (her favorite holiday is Christmas, go figure ) We offer monthly cookie decorating classes, as well as private classes. We teach you not only show how to decorate cookies, we guide you from the dough to the taste buds. We provide everything you need, as well as take home references. Cookie Class days are our favorite days of the month!
