Welcome to Summer Morning Bakery! I'm Summer, proudly serving customers in and around the Erlanger, KY area. I have held many positions in my life, but none of them have fulfilled me like my passion for being in the kitchen. I grew up savoring everything my mother whipped together - comforting classics like chicken and dumplings, potato soup, and tuna noodle casserole. I would try my best to gain as much knowledge as I could from watching her. However, it was not until I moved in with my now-husband that I was able to fully embrace cooking and, more specifically, baking. About three years ago, I hit a point in my life where I felt very stuck. I had just left a job in customer service that was very draining, and I did not know what to do next. As a way to fill my time, I started baking. I have always loved being creative, and I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could come up with my own sugary concoctions and satisfy my never-ending sweet tooth. This passion led me to start Summer Morning Bakery. My hope is that the baked goods I offer remind someone of a beautiful summer morning: full of warmth and light. Because, when I’m cooking and baking in my kitchen, it always feels like summer (cheesy, I know!). But I truly believe that I have found my vocation, and I want to share my enthusiasm and love for great food with you. So thanks for stopping by!
