Welcome to Sugar Therapy, Rochster Minnesota’s newest cottage bakery!  Let me share a bit about the inspiration behind the name; I’m a fan of treats as a pick me up lol. My husband has/had a wonderful habit of surprising me with sweet treats whenever I was feeling down 😆.  The idea of “Sugar Therapy” also resonates deeply with me during this time of life changes. After dedicating 18 years to my career as a nurse—an occupation I cherished—I faced health challenges that made it impossible for me to continue in that role. Leaving my dream job was devastating, and I needed a new outlet that would keep me engaged and provide a sense of purpose. Since I’ve always had a passion for baking and art, I decided to venture into the world of cottage baking.  Baking has become my personal escape, a way to relieve stress and express my creativity through decorating. There’s something incredibly joyful about playing my favorite tunes while whipping up beautiful and delicious confections that are sure to bring smiles to others' faces. In line with the Sugar Therapy theme, I’ll be offering a special gift option—a small treat box designed to uplift friends, colleagues, and family members. Each box will include motivating messages and stickers that promote positive mental health, reminding recipients that they are cherished, resilient, and never alone. It’s my little way of spreading a bit of “Sugar Therapy ❤️.” Thanks for stopping by!
