Hey there, I'm Sarah! I make custom sweets and treats for all kinds of celebrations (or just for yourself, I wont judge!). I offer cakes, cookies, cupcakes, macarons, and other treats by request! I work full time at the 5 Star Wequassett Resort in Cape Cod as the Assistant Pastry Chef. In my free time, I make custom treats in my apartment in Sandwich, MA!
I have always been creative at heart with my mother being a fine artist. Her artistic influence and paintings are my main source of inspiration. My love for baking and all things sweet started when I joined the Culinary Arts shop at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School. It was there under the guidance of my bake shop teacher that I realized my potential in this industry.
While in high school I competed in SkillsUSA for Commercial Baking and won four gold medals, one national silver medal, and a skill point certificate for my hard work over the course of three years.
Upon acceptance into Johnson & Wales and throughout my college education, I have been able to flourish in a fast paced, professional environment. I have grown in ways I would have never before imagined, and faced many challenges along the way. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Baking & Pastry Arts (Summa Cum Laude).
I have had so many amazing opportunities, like being on The Food Network's Holiday Wars, Season 4! Showcasing my work on National Television was truly a dream come true for me. I am always striving to learn, grow, and reach my full potential every day.
I have a licensed residential kitchen and cottage food license where your custom baked goods are made with love. I am Servsafe certified and I have my certification in allergen awareness as well.
