Welcome to Room for Dessert ! We are a licensed home processor bakery, servicing mostly local Rochester fans. My experience in baking goes back several years, when I owned and operated the Room for Dessert Catering and Bakery in East Rochester. What began as a hobby evolved into an amazing, fruitful business. Our cafe and bakery supplied desserts to several restaurants, created wedding cakes, and catered private and corporate groups up to 200 people. Our chocolate creations won medals at the Rochester Chocolate Ball and the little shop had quite a following. At the peak of our success, the operation was sold. My career then moved to the corporate world. Fast forward about twenty-five years, when I recently retired and pursued a home processor license for baked goods. I've missed the joy of baking and creativity that comes with it. We operate under Room for Dessert (dba), and offer all types of delicious baked goods made to order. We use butter, cream, fresh eggs, and quality chocolate in our products. Our recipes are tried and true, many from my Mother and Grandmother.  We offer amazing cakes, pies, cookies, and mini-pastries and specialty treats throughout the year. Our royal icing sugar cookies are big sellers - unique for each theme and event. Because everything is custom and made to order, please contact us for pricing and to schedule your order.
