I'm so happy you're here! Please read before ordering:

Four things you should definitely know and then a very long winded, rather tedious but important note about shipping:

  • All of our items are fresh and made-to-order without preservatives, which means they are best enjoyed upon arrival. If you aren't planning on eating them right away, they will last longer in the fridge (up to a week) or the freezer (up to 6 months).

  • Since we make everything to order, it will take a couple of days to make it before we ship it out. During the summer, we ship chocolate on Mondays and Tuesdays so your order doesn't melt in a warehouse over the weekend. If you order chocolate on Monday or Tuesday, we won't ship out until the following Monday or Tuesday, so please plan accordingly!

  • Everything I make is made in a kitchen handling known allergens such as nuts, milk products, wheat, eggs.

  • All sales are final since this is a food product custom made by order, but if there are any problems at all, please let me know and I will make it right. <3

Please read this very long note about shipping, especially in hot weather:

First of all, if you are in the Seattle area, we offer local pick-up on Mercer Island.

We ship USPS Priority, which is 2-3 day mail depending on where you are. We ship from Seattle, so if you are in, say, Florida, it’s more like 3 days. Once our lovingly wrapped packages leave our kitchen, we have no control over what USPS does with them.

Shipping is set at $16.00 flat rate per order, not per item. We don't charge for handling. Castiron also charges a convenience fee. If you are buying an item for $12 you’ll be charged about $30. If you buy 2 items for $24, you’ll be charged about $45. It’s weird, I know. I wish I had more control over shipping costs. We’ve reduced the price as low as we can without sacrificing ingredient quality and offer a 15% discount using the code 15PERCENTOFF to offset the cost of shipping.

Shipping to Canada is always more than $16! If you are in Canada and want to know exactly how much it's going to be, please contact me at *before* you order so we can work out the details.

We typically ship out on Monday and Tuesday. Chocolates (especially milk chocolate due to high cocoa butter content) will melt just sitting in your hand, so imagine what your lovely, hand crafted chocolates would look like after a weekend in some warehouse.

That said, shipping chocolates in spring/summer is kind of a crapshoot. I’ve had chocolates arrive in perfect condition to Florida in 90 degree heat and I’ve had chocolates arrive in less than perfect condition to Texas. Again: once we ship to you, we’ve done everything we can to make sure your items arrive safely. After that, it’s Mother Nature and the USPS.

If you need your items sooner, or you need to make 100% sure there are no melting issues, please contact us at and we’ll send you a quote for dry ice packaging and overnight shipping.

Our products are made on equipment that also produce products that contain the following ingredients: Milk, Eggs, Wheat, Fish, Shellfish, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Soy Beans, Sesame
