Kauai Poi Balls

Welcome to Kauai Poi Balls ! My name is Sonya Emura, I want to share my story about why I decided to begin this business. First off, born and raised here on Kauai, I have been to many of the Parades and Special Events on this island and I have always looked forward to the deep fried poi balls,It just recreates satisfaction in my mouth. I recently went to Waimea Town Celebration hoping to get my hands on some poi balls, to devour, but I was sad to see there was no one doing it.Thats when Kauai Poi Balls was born. I then decided I want to share these treats and create memories for everyone to enjoy, so they can take home a piece of the night and spark a memorable experience. Just a secret if you can't eat it all at once take it home and put it in the ice box ,the next day take a bite and you will fall in love all over again. That's what I do,lol. It surprises me that the poi balls still have a crunch to it the next day. *(especially the sugar bag) Aloha and God bless you all! p.s I hope i can be a food vendor at Waimea Town Celebration next year:) But even if I don't you can still find me at the art nights around the island.
