At 18, he immigrated to the United States, embarking on a new chapter that started in the automotive industry. Starting as a porter washing cars, Sebastian's determination saw him rise through the ranks: from a hiker transporting vehicles between auctions to a weekend salesman, then a full-time salesman, and eventually ascending to roles such as sales manager, finance manager, finance director, and general manager. Despite his success in the car business, his passion for baking remained unwavering. Driven by this passion, Sebastian transitioned back to the culinary arts, focusing on the art of sourdough bread. He established his own venture, offering the community in Des Plaines and beyond a taste of genuine, handcrafted sourdough loaves.
