ABOUT OUR STAFF: Amy Minjarez - Owner and Baker Amy Minjarez is a Colorado native growing up in the city of Broomfield. She attended university of Northern Colorado in Greeley and got her pastry arts degree at Escoffier Culinary Institute in Boulder. Amy owned her own online bakery making custom cakes before working for Kroger as a Bakery Manager for 6 different locations fixing those stores and bringing their sales numbers up and providing high standards on how corporate bakeries should be run. She is so excited to get back to her roots and build the cottage bakery of her dreams! Babycakes Denver is more than just the online bakery it started as in 2012! She can’t wait to get the product out to a new generation and work on a more personal level really getting to be a part of the neighborhood and looks forward to meeting new people and families at all of the Markets and Pop-up shops we will be involved in!  Petra Galbaugh - Baker and Decorator Petra is new to our staff and we are so excited to have her! As Amy’s soon to be daughter-in-law, she is ready and willing to be her artistic and creative talents to Babycakes Denver! Petra is also a native to Colorado and has been decorating cakes on the side for the last several years! Her talents are so welcome at Babycakes Denver and we can’t wait to watch her grow as she continually provides gorgeous cakes for all special occasions!
